DripDrop ORS contains sucrose and fructose, both sugars with a lower glycemic index than glucose. Sucralose’s glycemic index is 0 and, according to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the amount of sucralose that can be consumed on a daily basis over a person’s lifetime without any adverse side effects is 9 mg/kg/day. DripDrop ORS can provide an optimum hydration status, thereby preventing hyperglycemia (high blood sugar concentrations). That said, diabetics should consult a doctor before consuming DripDrop ORS.
